About the Role
Every shop on Masinja has a story, an owner, and a craft. This role is about capturing that life: shooting crisp, authentic short-form videos with merchants, creating hyper-local social campaigns that showcase real deals, and running targeted community growth initiatives that prove Masinja works for both sellers and buyers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Create high-energy, authentic short-form video and photo content highlighting real merchants and deals.
- Run targeted social campaigns across WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, and localized channels to drive buyer traffic.
- Collaborate with Community Champions to produce on-the-ground merchant spotlights.
- Measure buyer acquisition by city and district, constantly refining messaging based on conversion data.
What We're Looking For
- Two or more years creating content, running field marketing, or managing social campaigns in Nigeria.
- Skilled with smartphone photography/videography and fast editing for social formats.
- A natural instinct for what makes everyday people stop scrolling and want to buy locally.
- Comfortable moving between market stalls and creative strategy meetings.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with consumer marketplaces, e-commerce, or food delivery platforms.
- Established relationships with local lifestyle or commerce creators.
