Frontend Remote

Frontend Engineer, Web

Remote Full-time

Build the public web surface and the internal console our operations team runs cities from.

About the Role

Two surfaces, very different. The public web has to be fast and pleasant on any device. The admin console is where our team reviews deals, supports vendors and opens new cities, and it has to be dense, quick and legible under pressure. You will build both, which means moving between designing for strangers and designing for colleagues who use the thing eight hours a day.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build the public web: the brand site and the deals people land on from a share.
  • Build the admin console for vendor support, deal moderation and city launches.
  • Hold a real performance budget and keep the site inside it.
  • Make both surfaces accessible, keyboard-usable and readable in both themes.

What We're Looking For

  • Four or more years in frontend, with strong React and TypeScript.
  • You understand rendering, caching and why pages get slow.
  • Accessibility is part of how you build, not a pass at the end.
  • You have built a dense internal tool and made it pleasant to use.

Nice to Have

  • Next.js App Router in production.
  • Design systems work.
  • Interest in mapping interfaces.
