Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Masinja, which is operated by Pyntrach. By using it you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.

Masinja is rolling out in scheduled city phases. Until the service opens in your specific area, these terms govern the website and early access list.

What Masinja is

Masinja is a place to post and find deals. Businesses post their own goods at their own prices, and buyers enquire with them directly. We provide the platform. The contract of sale is between the buyer and the business. We are not the seller and we are not party to the sale.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You must be 18 or over to hold an account.

If you sell on Masinja

You are responsible for what you post. That means: you have the right to sell it, the caption and price are accurate, the goods exist, and selling them is legal where you are.

You must not post counterfeit goods, stolen goods, or anything you are not licensed to sell. We can remove a deal or suspend an account that breaks this, and we do not have to warn you first.

If you buy on Masinja

Enquire in good faith. If you agree a purchase with a business, hold up your end of it.

Faults, returns and refunds are handled with the business you bought from. We will help move that along, and we will step in where a business is not holding up its end.

Fees

Fees charged to businesses are set out in the vendor agreement. We will give notice before changing them.

Suspension

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, misuses the platform, or puts other users at risk. Where we do, we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Liability

We provide the platform as it is. We are not liable for the quality, safety or legality of goods sold by businesses on Masinja, and we do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects you, we will give notice before it takes effect.
